Fees and Rebates
Our fee schedule is designed to allow our services to be accessible for clients of all income levels. If you have any questions about our fees, please call us on 9831 5955 and we will be more than happy to help.
Appointments with a registered psychologist are $160 for a 50-55 minute session. Under the Better Access to Mental Health Initiative you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $87 for up to 20 sessions a year.
To access the Medicare rebate, you will need a Mental Health Care Plan prepared by your GP. Bring this with you to your first appointment with a valid Medicare card and we will be able to process your rebate immediately.
Low Income Earners, Health Care Card (Centrelink) holders and Pensioners
If you are a low-income earner, pensioner or have a health care card from Centrelink you are eligible to access the Primary Mental Health Services program, which replaces ATAPS.
Through this program clients are eligible for 12 sessions a year and up to 18 sessions in exceptional circumstances. People who are a risk of suicide can access 12 sessions over a 2 month period.
Referrals can be made by your GP and under this scheme there is no out-of pocket expense incurred by clients.
Private Health Insurance
Many private health funds provide rebates for psychological consultations. Please check with your fund regarding your level of cover and eligibility.
EFTPOS is available on site. We are also able process Medicare and Private Health Insurance rebates on site.
