CHERYL RAJ

REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGIST AND PRACTICE DIRECTOR

Cheryl is a registered psychologist and the practice director of Blacktown Psychology Centre. Having lived, studied and worked in the Blacktown area Cheryl is acutely in tune with many of the mental health challenges being experienced in the community and is passionate about providing the required support. Cheryl’s high levels of empathy and patience allow her to achieve success with her clients through gentle guidance. Understanding motivations is key to Cheryl’s approach which is used to target and address symptoms and underlying issues. She encourages empowerment in her practice and gains personal satisfaction from achieving outcomes with people suffering from major depression, anxiety or chronic pain.

REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGIST

Sharita has been a Registered Psychologist for over 8 years and has worked across many community mental health programs as well as private practice. Sharita generally uses a variety of techniques while working with clients including Cognitive Behavior Therapy,
Mindfulness and Solution-focused therapy and is also trained in providing behaviour support for people with intellectual disabilities in accordance with the NDIS framework. Sharita’s main goal is to help clients learn more about themselves using a person-centered approach and
empower them to make informed decisions about different aspects of their lives.
Sharita has experience in working with Culturally and linguistically diverse as well Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations and has a special interest in working with Hoarding issues.

REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGIST

Evguenia is a registered psychologist and a senior member of the team at Blacktown Psychology Centre. Evguenia is outcome focused and passionate about empowering people to reach their potential. With compassion, curiosity, and high attention to detail, she employs an investigative approach in her practice to identify limiting patterns in life; define their effect on well-being, work, and relationships; and creates successful strategies to address the root cause. Evguenia’s goal is to guide her clients in learning to effectively navigate life’s challenges. Evguenia welcome clients from all cultures, subcultures and occupations, providing a safe space where they are treated with compassion, respect and understanding.
